As soon as a person begins to discover the reality of our awful situation, a natural response may be disgust, fear, discouragement, and even anger.
It is not pleasant, after all, to learn that our neighbors have been secretly practicing satanic rituals in which they kidnap, rape, murder, and cannibalize children, and that our cherished politicians, celebrities, and musicians have been sex-trafficking children to harvest and drink their adrenaline-laden blood in a deranged lust for power, wealth, and an illusory eternal youth.
Although we have often been warned of such evils by both ancient and modern prophets, the common and decent man or woman will recoil in horror at the truth and feel surges of righteous indignation combined with deep and poignant sorrow for the sins of the world.
The same common and decent man or woman may also respond with incredulity. How is it possible that human beings can become so demonic and depraved? How is it possible that our fellow creatures, also created in the image of God, can descend to such unfathomable depths of evil?
For a normal person, the initial shock of the ugly truth does not wear off quickly, and he or she is left to ponder: What is to be done?
The shattering of our blissfully unaware and rosy paradigm allows us to respond with the faith, courage, hope, optimism, joy, and peace that only our Savior Jesus Christ can provide. Such shattering can also inspire us to deepen our knowledge and understanding of things as they really are. Rather than despair, we can grow closer to God and firmer in our faith in Jesus Christ.
It has become customary for some people in some circles to mock and disparage those they label as “conspiracy theorists,” but anyone with eyes to see knows that “conspiracy theorists” most often come closer to the truth than those who imagine that conspiracies don’t exist or that they are only a thing of the past.
A little study reveals that conspiracies - even secret, murderous, and pervasive conspiracies - have always been a part of human history, from the time that Cain slew his brother Abel to the present. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should have an advantage over most American citizens because we have access to the best tools for discerning the truth about what Book of Mormon prophets call “secret combinations,” and because a recent prophet boldly declared that there is no conspiracy theory in the Book of Mormon - it is a conspiracy fact.
But even without the Book of Mormon a diligent student of history can begin to recognize patterns that help us to understand why we ought not to trust people like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Yuval Noah Harari, Anthony Fauci, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Justin Trudeau, and almost anyone else in positions of power or in popular media.
As I mentioned in the previous post, a great place to start in the process of pattern recognition is with John Robison's excellent book Proofs of a Conspiracy. At the dawn of the American Republic, Robison had already begun to identify patterns of the Illuminati conspiracy, a conspiracy that has since grown to colossal proportions and infiltrated almost every corner of modern society, in particular the realms of politics, entertainment, and religion.
Fortunately there are a few courageous people with highly developed skills in pattern recognition who tirelessly and ceaselessly draw these wicked conspiracies or secret combinations into the light where they can be exposed and eliminated.
One easily recognizable pattern among top conspiracists, from Cain to Gadianton to Adam Weishaupt, is that they have an insatiable lust for any power and wealth that they can acquire through murder and aided by secret oaths, signs, and symbols.
A pattern that can be somewhat more difficult to discern is that these top conspiracists often use the camouflage of religion, philanthropy, or patriotism to cover their nefarious deeds.
Even more difficult to discern is the pattern of top conspiracists who create front organizations that ostensibly work to combat the very evils that the founders of such organizations perpetrate.
One of the most insidious patterns of top conspiracists is not only that they prey upon the innocent, but that for their own nefarious purposes, they manipulate good, earnest, and intelligent people and draw them into their evil schemes.
Another pattern revealed by the evil work of Adam Weishaupt is that top conspiracists often hide themselves and their true intentions at the heart of an enticing, complex, labyrinthine, and many-layered organization in which initiates are promised power and position and gradually guided through a series of stages, levels, or degrees toward supposed enlightened mysteries. Study the life and work of L. Ron Hubbard and the history of Scientology (see also here), for example, or the history of the Illuminati infiltration of Freemasonry, or the history of cults. Come to think of it, doesn’t this pattern also describe the deep state, government agencies like the CIA, NSA, FBI, etc. (read Whitney Webb’s One Nation Under Blackmail), many businesses, and even some think tanks and academic institutions?
Another pattern or obsession of top conspiracists is that some of them enjoy thrusting images of their evil upon the unwary and unsuspecting masses. These demons in human form revel in manifesting their dark and hidden evils through art, music, fashion, film, and even parades.
One final pattern to consider for now is that top conspiracists are often obsessed with bloodlines and satanic lineages.
John Robison provided a valuable service to George Washington, Abigail Adams, and early American patriots, and he provides a valuable service to us today. Robison was able to provide this service because he had done the hard work of identifying patterns, exploring hidden things, and probing into the dark history of the Illuminati. Robison was positioned to provide this service in part because of his former experiences in and study of the world of Freemasonry.
Of all rabbit holes, that of Freemasonry may be the deepest, darkest, and most difficult to explore. The Freemasonry rabbit hole leads to so many other rabbit holes that - at least until the Lord sees fit to reveal all things and until all things are proclaimed from the housetops - it will be a never-ending ending process to shine light into the darkness. Or to return to the metaphor that forms the title of this Substack, there are endless webs and innumerable spiders that weave them.
But spiders must be smashed, and rabbit holes must be penetrated. Evil must be exposed, and truth must be told. If we can learn to detect and reject the Illuminati, then certainly we can embrace the deeper, darker challenges before us.
The search for truth continues. We must search for this fairest gem and this brightest prize wherever it is to be found, whether in the depths where it glittering lies or ascending in pursuit to the loftiest skies. It is the aim of the noblest desire:
The things of God are of deep import; and time, and experience, and careful and ponderous and solemn thoughts can only find them out. Thy mind, O man! if thou wilt lead a soul unto salvation, must stretch as high as the utmost heavens, and search into and contemplate the darkest abyss, and the broad expanse of eternity--thou must commune with God. How much more dignified and noble are the thoughts of God, than the vain imaginations of the human heart! None but fools will trifle with the souls of men.
- The Prophet Joseph Smith
