Exposing and Eradicating Horrific Evil and Real Conspiracies

Today there was yet another hearing for the Roselle Stevenson case.

Thus the time is ripe for a new Substack to help report the horrific crimes that have been and are being perpetrated in our neighborhoods, communities, churches, schools, businesses, cities, states, and nations throughout the world.

This new Substack is called (for reasons that will soon become apparent) Smashing Spiders, and I am Simon, Simon the Spider Smasher.

In this new Substack, Smashing Spiders, I will seek to assist those who are courageously working to expose the evils of real conspiracies (conspiracies that are known by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and serious students of the Book of Mormon as “secret combinations”), in order to eradicate them from the face of the earth.

Wise and thoughtful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and students of the Book of Mormon understand, both by study and faith, that the ancient American prophet Moroni did not mince words when he issued a clarion warning about conspiracies in the last days (i.e. the days in which we now live):

And now I, Moroni, do not write the manner of their oaths and combinations, for it hath been made known unto me that they are had among all people, and they are had among the Lamanites.

And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.

And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed; for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them and yet he avenge them not.

Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.

For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents, yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.

Wherefore, I, Moroni, am commanded to write these things that evil may be done away, and that the time may come that Satan may have no power upon the hearts of the children of men, but that they may be persuaded to do good continually, that they may come unto the fountain of all righteousness and be saved. (Ether 8:20-26)

Knowing by study, faith, and experience that Moroni’s warning and prophesy is true, I am duty-bound to share the truth and to do all that is in my power to help others to awaken to a sense of our awful situation, to repent, and to eliminate these secret combinations.

Murderous and secret combinations (a.k.a. conspiracies) caused the destruction of at least two entire civilizations (the Jaredites and the Nephites) prior to the great American experiment. The aim of these conspiracies has been and still is to destroy liberty and to obtain power and wealth by various means, including extortion, blackmail, torture, abuse, and even murder.

In order to help bring to light these secret works of darkness, or metaphorically speaking, in order to expose these webs and smash the spiders who weave them, I will promote and comment upon the work of other trustworthy and reliable investigators and freedom-fighters. I will also consult and comment upon whatever books, articles, websites, videos, and other sources may be helpful in this process.

In order for evil to be done away, as Moroni taught, it must first be accurately identified and exposed to the light of day. We must shine a spotlight upon the intricate webs and the evil spiders who weave them.

To be clear, by the terminology of “smashing spiders” I do not advocate for violence or direct confrontation of criminals. In fact, as the Book of Mormon also shows, many secret combinations were destroyed when criminals were apprehended and taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord Himself will smash whatever must be smashed. He sees and knows all things. Our duty, on the other hand, is similar to that of the early Saints whom the Prophet Joseph Smith counseled and instructed as follows:

It is an imperative duty that we owe to God, to angels, with whom we shall be brought to stand, and also to ourselves, to our wives and children, who have been made to bow down with grief, sorrow, and care, under the most damning hand of murder, tyranny, and oppression, supported and urged on and upheld by the influence of that spirit which hath so strongly riveted the creeds of the fathers, who have inherited lies, upon the hearts of the children, and filled the world with confusion, and has been growing stronger and stronger, and is now the very mainspring of all corruption, and the whole earth groans under the weight of its iniquity.

It is an iron yoke, it is a strong band; they are the very handcuffs, and chains, and shackles, and fetters of hell.

Therefore it is an imperative duty that we owe, not only to our own wives and children, but to the widows and fatherless, whose husbands and fathers have been murdered under its iron hand;

Which dark and blackening deeds are enough to make hell itself shudder, and to stand aghast and pale, and the hands of the very devil to tremble and palsy.

And also it is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation, and to all the pure in heart—

For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it—

Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven—

These should then be attended to with great earnestness.

Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things.

You know, brethren, that a very large ship is benefited very much by a very small helm in the time of a storm, by being kept workways with the wind and the waves.

Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed. (D&C 123:7-17)

This imperative duty, to waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and are truly manifest from heaven, is one that I, Simon, cheerfully embrace and hope to fulfill in part by means of this this new Substack: Smashing Spiders.

I hope to provide as much free material as possible, because these hidden things of darkness and secret combinations must be exposed to as wide an audience as possible. Nevertheless, generous contributions are welcomed and encouraged, whether by paid subscriptions to this Substack or other donations.

Together we can help others to awaken to a sense of our awful situation. We can work to expose the evils of real conspiracies, or secret combinations, and eradicate them from the face of the earth. We can disentangle the webs and smash the spiders who are seeking to destroy our liberty and to obtain power and wealth by nefarious means.
